Assignment description

The customer is looking for a Software Developer with a passion for microservices and a desire to help build a truly digital organization. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain a robust microservice infrastructure, with a focus on creating tailored solutions and integrations to support the business goals. You will work closely with domain experts to understand their workflows and develop solutions that address their specific needs. Additionally, you will play a key role in defining and maintaining our DevSecOps practices and governance policies to ensure security and operational efficiency. As this role supports a dynamic construction project, you will need to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Flexibility, quick problem-solving, and the ability to manage changing priorities are key to your success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices architecture. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and integrations. - Maintain and improve DevSecOps procedures, ensuring strong governance and security policies. - Work with domain experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Adapt and respond quickly to shifting project priorities and timelines in a high-paced environment. - Actively contribute to the growth and knowledge-sharing within your team.

Must haves

- Solid experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot frameworks. - A strong understanding of microservice architecture principles. - Experience in building and maintaining DevSecOps processes. - Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced, evolving project environment. -- A collaborative mindset with a desire to work closely with colleagues across different functions. - An eagerness to learn and contribute beyond your core technical expertise.

Other requirements

- Development experience from event driven microservice environments using RESTful APIs - Kotlin and Spring Boot in containerized environments - Message-broker platforms like RabbitMQ or similar. - Automated software building, testing and deployment using GitLab CI/CD - Infrastructure as Code using Terraform - Hands on experience working with Kubernetes clusters or similar - Hands on experience working with AWS S3, Snowflake and dbt or similar - Professional experience with IIoT environments and protocols like OPC UA and PROFINET
